Perhaps the most popular pastries with sausages are buns or puffs. I want to offer to cook a very tasty tear-off yeast pie. In fact, the same buns are obtained, which are easy to tear off and convenient to eat. The shape of the cake resembles a flower, it looks beautiful and presentable. So you can bake on the festive table. A pie with sausages is prepared on a yeast dough and baked in the oven. In principle, there is nothing complicated in its preparation. The only thing is that you need to properly knead the yeast dough so that it is soft, tender, elastic and obedient. It will also take a small margin of time to raise the dough and proof the pie. If you do everything correctly, as indicated in the recipe with a photo, then the yeast cake with sausages will turn out to be very tender and airy. And in combination with sausages, pastries will come out quite satisfying and fragrant.

Ingredients:

  • Sausages - 5 pcs.;
  • Dry yeast - 1 tsp;
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • Milk - 150 ml;
  • Refined sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • Sugar - 1 tsp;
  • Wheat flour - 300 g;
  • White sesame - 1 tbsp. l.

Recipe for sausage pie on yeast dough in the oven.

1. Preparation of yeast dough begins with kneading the dough. All products for her should be warm. Milk must be heated to 35-40 degrees. Even the mixing container should be slightly warm. Dissolve yeast and sugar in milk. Then add 100 g of sifted flour and mix. The dough must be left for 20 minutes for the yeast to activate.

2. After that, one egg should be driven into it and salt should be added.

3. Then you need to pour in vegetable oil. It will make the yeast dough less sticky and make it easier to knead.

4. Flour must be introduced gradually, sifting and thoroughly kneading each portion.

5. When the dough thickens, put it on a floured table and continue to knead with your hands. Human heat increases the activity of yeast bacteria and the cake is soft and fluffy. At first, the dough will be very sticky to your hands, but gradually it will become better to lag behind. Do not rush to add flour once again. The dough should not be dense, clogged with flour. As soon as it stops sticking to a clean table, the batch must be stopped. A good yeast dough for a pie is very tender and pleasant to the touch, soft and obedient. When you crumple it, it quickly returns to its shape.

6. Form a ball from the dough and put it in a warm bowl greased with vegetable oil. It must be covered with cling film or a towel and left warm to rise. In the meantime, you can prepare sausages. For a tear-off yeast cake, you should take small, high-quality baby or milk sausages. While the dough is resting, they need to be cooked, cooled slightly, peeled from the film and cut in half lengthwise. After 2 hours the dough will double in size.

7. It should be divided into 10-12 pieces the size of a chicken egg.

8. Each piece of dough must be rolled out into a cake with a diameter of slightly more than half a sausage.

9. Put the sausage and form a patty. Do the same with the rest of the filling.

10. Put 10-11 pies in a round shape of a suitable diameter. Place them seam side down. Place one empty ball of dough in the center.

11. Cover the mold with a towel and leave the cake to proof for 30 minutes.

12. Then it should be smeared with egg yolk and sprinkled with white sesame seeds.

13. Bake a tear-off yeast pie with sausages at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

The cheese contained in the dough may burn around the edges and in the bottom, and this can give an unpleasant aftertaste. Therefore, it is important to bring pastries only to light browning.

Before serving, the cake should be slightly cooled, and in a cold form, in my opinion, it is even tastier.

  • instead of sour cream, you can use fatty kefir,
  • not too fresh, even slightly sour (but not bitter), sour cream is quite suitable for such a pie, so this is a great way to “attach” this product.
