  1. In order to prepare the dough, you need to mix softened butter and granulated sugar. You don't need to grind it for a long time, just mix until smooth.
  2. Pour semolina into this mixture, and mix everything properly.
  3. In a separate container, mix flour and baking powder. Flour should always be sifted just before cooking. First, it may contain unwanted impurities. Secondly, during sifting, the flour is saturated with oxygen and products from it are more magnificent.
  4. Flour with baking powder should be added to the creamy semolina mixture.
  5. Rub everything with your hands or a spoon until grains appear.

For the test you need:

  • 2.5 cups flour;
  • 100g margarine for baking;
  • 50 g of fat sour cream;
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar;
  • 2 yolks;
  • 2 tsp baking powder.

For filling:

  • 700 g plums;
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar;
  • a teaspoon of starch.

Cooking:

Lean shortbread pie is made from margarine, flour, sugar. You don't need milk or eggs to make it. As a filling, you can use any berries, jam, marmalade or jam.

For the test you need:

  • 1.5 cups flour;
  • a pack of margarine;
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar;
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder.

For filling:

  • a glass of any jam;
  • 100 g of any nuts.

Cooking:

  1. Freeze the margarine so that it can be grated.

250 g mayonnaise

Since I have a grated shortbread pie with jam, namely apricot, but I found only jam, I simply smashed the required amount in a blender until smooth. Then I evenly distribute it throughout the dough, quite a bit before reaching the edges.

At this time, you can already turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. I take out the second part of the dough and the freezer and rub it on a coarse grater, right on top of the jam, but so that it is approximately even. I didn’t mix more flour into this piece and rub it like that, but I know that some people add flour to it to make it harder, because it froze just a little and it’s not very convenient to rub because of this. You do what is more convenient for you.

Here is such a simple and easy recipe for a pie with jam I got. I bake it for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.

3. Add sour cream (kefir or mayonnaise) and gradually stir in the flour along with the baking powder. Knead the dough.


4. When the dough is ready, divide it into 2 parts.

  • vanilla sugar - 1 pack.
