Puff pastry rolls with jam. Roll with jam – simple, neat, beautiful! Recipes for biscuit, shortbread, yeast rolls with jam Puff roll with jam

Who doesn't love pies with jam? Among my family, friends and relatives there are simply no such people: everyone, including carefree children and strict grandmothers, cannot resist when they see a plate of ruddy, very appetizing pies on the table. And I like to cook what others eat with pleasure, so I often cook puff pastries with jam: it’s very simple and quick. Do you want me to teach you too?

Ingredients:

  • 500 g ready-made puff pastry;
  • 300-400 g jam (I took);
  • 5-6 tsp. Sahara;
  • 1 yolk.

Preparation:

We will need the puff pastry already defrosted, so be sure to remove it from the freezer 30-40 minutes before you start cooking. Lightly roll out the dough and cut into squares with a side of about 10 cm.

Place a teaspoon of jam in the middle of each square. The main requirement for the filling is that it is not too liquid. Therefore, it is best to use jam or jam, and not preserves, for example.

Now we first connect 2 opposite sides and pinch the edges well. Then we also securely pinch the ends. And we turn the seams inward so that they do not stick out.

Turn the pie over to the other side so that all the seams are on the bottom. Place on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or oiled parchment paper.

Lightly beat the egg yolk with a whisk. And apply it to the pies (it’s very convenient to do this with a silicone brush).

Then sprinkle sugar on top of the pies.

And put the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 200-220 degrees. The pies cook very quickly - within 10-15 minutes they will become golden brown and can be taken out.

It is better to cool the pies, at least a little - the jam in them will be too hot immediately after the oven, and you can get burned. In general, I like these pies with jam better cold, but you decide for yourself.

Bon appetit!

Tips and tricks:

I don’t advise you to defrost puff pastry using a microwave oven - no matter how many times I tried to do this, nothing good came of it: the dough ends up rolling out poorly and rising little in the oven. So I'm just natural defrosting, without any compromises! If you are in a hurry, it is better not to cook with this dough at all than to waste time and spoil the dish.

Puff pastry is simply ideal for making sweet puff pastries. There will be no fuss with cooking, because the dough is incredibly simple. This easy and quick recipe for apricot jam puffs will appeal to everyone in the household. Sweet pastries always lift your spirits and make your home atmosphere magical.

Recipe for puff pastry with jam

Dish: Baking

Preparation time: 45 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 480-550 g wheat flour
  • 180 g butter
  • 100 g full-fat sour cream
  • 1 PC. chicken egg
  • 1 PC. egg yolk for lubrication
  • 3 g baking powder
  • 10 g salt
  • sugar to taste
  • 300 g jam for filling

Step-by-step recipe with photos

How to make puff pastry with jam from puff pastry

1. Cut the butter into small pieces. It should be soft, slightly melted.

2. Pour sour cream into a bowl with butter. Add salt. Mix everything with a spoon.

3. Break the egg and add baking powder.

4. Add flour in portions. Knead the dough with your hands. It is not necessary to sift the flour. The finished dough will have a fatty base, but will not stick to your hands. Place the dough in a bag and place it in the freezer for 30 minutes.

5. Divide the cooled dough into pieces weighing 40 grams.

Roll each piece of dough into a rectangle.

Make slits.

It will be enough to make three cuts, if desired, you can do more! Place a tablespoon of apricot jam on the flat side of the rectangle.

Of course, you can use any jam, but with apricot it will turn out simply amazing! Fold the empty edge of the dough (where the cuts are) and place it on the jam. It is not necessary to pinch the edges of the dough; you just need to trim them with a knife, that is, trim off the excess. Thus, the edges on the products connect by themselves.

6. Place the puff pastries on a baking sheet.

Coat the top of the puff pastries with beaten yolk and sprinkle with sugar. To prevent the products from burning during baking, you should first place oiled parchment on the bottom of the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.

7. Fragrant puff pastry puffs with apricot jam are ready.

Enjoy your tea!

Roll out the dough into a rectangle and add the filling. Alternate a strip of poppy seed with a strip of jam.

Roll it into a roll. Grease a baking sheet with oil, place our roll and put it in the oven at 180 degrees.

When our roll has risen, take it out and grease it with a small amount of oil and return it to the oven. When our roll is browned, take it out and let it cool a little. Since my baking sheet is small, I had to bake the rolls one at a time.

And so, while our rolls are cooling a little, we will prepare the decoration. What you need: milk, chocolate, powdered sugar

Add 1 tbsp to the container. l. milk, broken chocolate and melt until liquid (so that it would be convenient to pour)

And now we can decorate our rolls. I got it like this. In general, decoration is your imagination.

When cut, our roll looks even more appetizing.

Every time I serve this or that dish on the table, I try to remind my loved ones that I love them. And this time the serving of rolls was like this.

Bon appetit!

Don’t know what to surprise your family with for breakfast? I offer a mega cool recipe: very beautiful, tasty and satisfying puff pastries with puff pastry jam. They are not difficult to prepare, even a child can do it, but the result, believe me, will please everyone. The puff pastries turn out unusually fluffy, airy, tender, and the taste is completely mesmerizing. In this recipe, we will wrap jam in puff pastries in an original way - it turns out, despite the ease of preparation, very impressive. The presentation of these puff pastries is very beautiful. You can feed guests with such baked goods, treat your colleagues, send your child to school - and everyone will be happy, verified. You can serve tea, coffee or milk drinks with these puff pastries.

Ingredients

To prepare puffs with puff pastry jam you will need:

ready-made puff pastry without yeast - 500 g;

jam - 200 g;

egg - 1 pc.;

sesame - 1 tbsp. l.

Yield: 4 large puff pastries.

Cooking steps

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Thaw frozen puff pastry. And it’s better to do this in the refrigerator, leaving it there overnight. If you don’t have time to wait, you can defrost store-bought dough in the microwave using the “Defrost” mode. Carefully unroll the defrosted dough onto the parchment and cut lengthwise into strips approximately 8-10 cm wide.

On the opposite edge of the dough, also, not reaching the edge 2 cm, place 1 tablespoon of jam.

Cover the jam with the edge of the dough with the hole. Carefully pinch the edges. You can use a fork, with its help the edges will be securely connected and you will still get a beautiful, ribbed pattern. Place the blanks in a mold (I have a ceramic one). The mold can be greased with vegetable oil or lined with baking paper.
Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk a little with a fork or whisk.

Using a silicone brush, carefully brush the puff pastry with egg. Immediately sprinkle the dough with sesame seeds.

Bake the puff pastries in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.

Incredibly airy, tender, moderately sweet puff pastries can be served immediately with tea.

It’s not difficult to bake puff pastries with jam from ready-made puff pastry, and it doesn’t take much time, and they are eaten even faster. Believe me!

Bon appetit! Cook with love!

Hello, my dear cooks! This is not the first time I am writing to you. I really like your recipes. Thank you very much for the colossal work you do. My family really loves puff pastry rolls; I have been collecting recipes for such rolls for a long time. True, I have already accumulated a lot, but I haven’t come across a puff pastry roll with apricot jam and almonds. Now my piggy bank is replenished, I will definitely bake this yummy. By the way, I have already prepared sweet rolls from instant puff pastry. I'm happy with the result. It turns out no worse than from a puff pastry. Thanks again for your work - very useful. Every day I visit your page and always find something new for myself.

A sweet puff pastry roll with apricot jam and almonds is awesome. I expected everything from you, but this... You might think that someone doesn’t know how to make a sweet roll from puff pastry. My 8 year old son does this every week. You killed me.

This is a recipe for my son, he loves this kind of baking. I’ll definitely make it, I think it’s very tasty. And it’s easy to prepare, and you can use store-bought or other jam. Stored well.

Hello my name is Sergey. I made a puff pastry roll with apricot jam. It turned out fine, just what I wanted. I took the dough ready. Fast, easy, delicious. In general, I like your lessons. You always explain everything clearly. We follow the recipe exactly and everything is fine and convenient. I love this kind of baking.

Hello, Dear Emma Isaakovna. I am your student from school 249. I don’t know whether you remember me or not, my name is Tonya, my school name is Yakovleva. I love you very much. You taught us to be human, first and foremost. Of course, you taught us physics, and I personally found it useful in my life. But first of all, a personal example of intelligence and decency. When we were children, we didn’t understand this, but you never tired of showing us what real human relationships are. So, little by little we absorbed it, and I can say with confidence, since I personally know almost all of your students, we are all, first of all, decent people and value decency in people. Thank you and low regards. Well, when I suddenly accidentally saw you on the Internet, I was simply stunned. Learning to cook from Emma Isaakovna – I couldn’t even dream of this. I remember how we gathered at your house with the whole class and cooked manti, sometimes dumplings, all together, then we all ate together - these are unforgettable moments. Emma Isaakovna, I am happy that I found you. All our guys say hello to you.

Cool recipe, but I would simplify everything even more. I bought dough and jam. The dough, already rolled out, spread with jam, sprinkled with nuts, rolled and into the oven. Pulled it out, cooled it, ate it. That's the whole story. Better yet, I bought the finished roll right away and ate it. But this is so, jokes, but in general, everything is as it should be.
A sweet roll made from puff pastry is great, but I don’t know whether it will bake or not. Need to try. Although on the other hand, if Grandma Emma gives the recipe, then everything will be fine. Everything I cooked according to their recipes was a blast. I wonder if you make such a roll, but not with a sweet, but with a savory filling, for example, with cheese or fish, it will probably also be delicious. Although, I prefer sweet rolls made from puff pastry.

Listen, it turned out to be such a good day, sunny, spring. We walked in the forest all day, had a great time, but were a little tired. I came home and thought I’d check my email and go to bed. But no such luck, there was a new recipe from Grandma Emma - Apricot puff pastry roll. I looked and thought: there is puff pastry, there is jam, there are almonds, I’ll go cook - tomorrow I’ll have something to drink tea with. I cooked it, waited half an hour for it to cool down, and my husband and I devoured it, it was delicious. Thank you my dears for your concern.
